Dr. David Brown, DDSDr. Brown truly believes that quality dentistry is the result of sincere intention, diligent effort, purposeful direction, and wise decisions.
With over 25 years of experience, his attention to each procedure continues to reflect his enthusiasm and commitment to his work. An avid believer in the importance of continuing education, Dr. Brown is thoroughly versed in all phases of dentistry, including implants and cosmetic "smile lifts".
Dr. Brown and his wife enjoy traveling to new places to experience the diversity of cultures and nature. Other interests include spending quality time with his young grandson, antique workmanship, and teaching aikido as a 3rd dan black belt instructor.
Chris, Office Manager
Working with Dr. Brown for over 25 years, Chris has become a familiar face with patients and a solid contributor the growth and ongoing success of the practice. Detailed, professional, and friendly, she truly enjoys and is very good with the intricate workings of managing the dental office.Chris enjoys spending time with her husband Roger, traveling, gardening and decorating. Chris also has two children Lori Anna and Scott, who live in Vancouver. Lori Ann works for a wine company, Fosters Canada and Scott is an artist teaching at Emily Carr and Simon Fraser University.
Ellen, Preventative Dental Assistant
Ellen has always been interested in health services. Starting with working in a local hospital and afterwards continuing her post-secondary education in health services. She attended Sheridan College for nursing, medical secretarial and clerk-typist certifications. She furthered her education at Niagara College, obtaining her Level I Dental Assisting (CDA) certification, and UWO, where she received her Preventative Dental Assisting (Level II) certification. Ellen is HARP and CPR certified through the Dental Assisting Challenge Examination.As a member of the Ontario Dental Assistants Association (ODAA) since 1988 and National Assisting Examining Board (NDAEB), she is dedicated to furthering her education and experience. As a Level II dental assistant / preventative dental assistant, Ellen enjoys the diverse and interactive experience with her patients of all ages - a natural experience that her patients reciprocate in kind.
Ellen is proud to live in the Oakville/Burlington area where she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two daughters. In her spare time she enjoys scrap booking and cheerleading.
Crystal, Dental Hygienist
Crystal began her career in the dental profession upon her graduation from George Brown College’s “Dental Assisting” program in 2001. Shortly after graduating, she started working for Dr. Brown as his dental assistant. About three years later she decided to continue her education to become a dental hygienist. In late 2005, she graduated from the Canadian Institute of Dental Hygiene and upon graduating has been with Dr. Brown’s dental team in that capacity.She is registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario and is a member of the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association. She also maintains her CPR training yearly and has recently had defibulator training.
In her spare time, she enjoys walking with her two labs, Champ and Cyrus, as well as trying her hand in skiing and golfing. During hockey season, Crystal looks forward to Saturday nights to watch Hockey Night in Canada… She is a proud “die-hard” Leaf fan!
Henga Mahallati, Registered Restorative Dental Hygienist
Henga was born in Iran and travelled to Italy when she was a teenager. In 1994, she began her dental career in Italy as a dental assistant. After moving to Canada in 1996, and taking some courses at George Brown College, she worked as a chair side dental assistant. At the same time, she studied at home and wrote the board exam and became a CDA (certified dental assistant).In 2002 she was enrolled in CIDH (Canadian Institute of Dental Hygiene) in Hamilton and received her Dental Hygiene Diploma. Most recently, Henga has graduated from George Brown College as a Registered Restorative Dental Hygienist.
Henga is happily married and a proud mom of two daughters (twins) - both of them are university students. She loves being active, such as participating in the 5 Kilometre Mississauga Marathon, and the 5 Kilometre Oakville Hospital Marathon. She loves to listen to classical music, and has recently taken up playing the piano. She has an pet cat that she adores. Henga is fluent in English, Italian, and Persian.
Nicole, Dental Assistant
Nicole is a Dental Assistant graduate from George Brown College. She decided that dentistry was the right path for her because it involves interacting with people and provides patients with certainty and to have faith in oneself. Nicole previously studied at McMaster University for one year and plans to return soon enough as a part-time student to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree. She is also fully bilingual as well as certified with CPR/First Aid and nationally certified as a Dental Assistant.When Nicole is not working at the office, she surrounds herself with friends and family and also works as a part-time waitress at a sports bar in Hamilton. Aside from that, Nicole loves to spend her weekends dancing the night away with her girlfriends.
Sarah, Front-Desk Administrator
Sarah is a Level II Dental Assistant who has recently joined the Envision Dental team. She has a passion for helping others and an ability to understand a patients needs. Her detail oriented nature will be a great asset to our practice. Since starting, she has grown and learned immensely.As a hobby, Sarah likes to bake. She has a talent for decorating cakes and makes each team member one for their birthday.
